SHIPMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL R&D-LEVEL SERVICES
Recommended Packaging and Shipping Guidelines:
Please secure all samples for shipment as appropriate:
- ≤ 36 samples: Please submit samples in 1.5 ml snap-lock microcentrifuge tubes or 8-strip tubes with securely fastened lids. Parafilm can be used to minimize risk to samples during shipment.
- >36 samples: Please submit samples arrayed on a 96-well plate, sealed with an appropriate adhesive plate seal and centrifuged to collect samples in the wells.
- Agar plates: Please ship agar plates in a sturdy container with the agar-side up to prevent condensation build-up. Secure agar plate lids with tape, rubber bands, or parafilm to minimize risk to samples during shipment.
- Glycerol stocks, RNA, and samples for extraction should be shipped using dry ice. Please consider the estimated delivery date of your shipment when determining the amount of dry ice to use.
Note: GENEWIZ accepts purified genomic DNA or can extract genomic DNA from various sample types, including biosafety level 1 (BSL1) and 2 (BSL2) supplied sources. We do not accept samples that require a higher level of processing than BSL 2.
Direct Shipping (FedEx, UPS or World Carrier):
If a Drop Box is not available, or if your starting material requires dry ice, please use an overnight delivery service such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL. A print-out of the Excel order page must be included with the material.
All direct shipments should be sent to:
GENEWIZ
